AGATE BEACH PARK on Lopez Island
This picnic area and beach is at the end of MacKaye Harbor Road at the south end of the island.
BLACKIE BRADIE MEMORIAL DAY PARK
Located at Hughes Bay.
LOPEZ SKATE PARK
Located in Lopez Village on Fisherman Bay Road, next to the Lopez Community Center.
ODLIN COUNTY PARK
30 Campsites on 80 acres. Low bank beach, boat launch, dock (load/unload), water, vault toilets, no showers. Reservations recommended ($10.00 fee). Campsite rates from $19-$22 nightly. OTIS PERKINS DAY PARK
You can get there by taking a right on Bayshore Rd. at the south end of Fisherman Bay. Two picnic tables rest at the south end of, one of the longest beaches in the county.
SHARK REEF SANCTUARY
Head south on Fisherman Bay Road; take a right on Airport Rd. and then a left on Shark Reef Road. A hike through the quiet forest takes you to a long rocky cliff along San Juan Channel.
SPENCER SPIT STATE PARK
130 acres with hiking trails, 1 mile waterfront. Mooring buoys. Camping season March to November. Flush Toilets, water, no showers. Take a left on Port Stanley Road just south of the ferry landing and the park is to the left. This 130-acre park offers history as well as beauty. There is a camping area, picnic sites and has buoys available for boat moorage. Bakerview Rd, Lopez Island

UPRIGHT CHANNEL PARK
It is located south of Odlin County Park on Fisherman Bay Road; you take a right on Military Road and look for the park on the right. This state-operated facility offers several picnic sites and a hike down to a sandy beach. On low tide you can hike the tidelands for a mile north to Odlin Park.
DON STENSRUD MEMORIAL TENNIS COURTS
Lopez is fortunate to have 4 tennis courts, whose construction was made possible by a group of interested Lopezians. The courts are managed by the non-profit Lopez Island Community Tennis Association [LICTA]. They are open to the public free of charge, but rely on public support for their upkeep. You can help and have fun, join LICTA and participate in its activities: weekly social women’s doubles, mixed doubles, children’s and adult clinics and in August, the 11th annual tournament.

ORCAS ISLAND
MORAN STATE PARK
4th largest park in the Washington State Park system, Moran State Park has over 33 miles of hiking trails, with some trails open to mountain bikes and equestrians seasonally. Cascade Lake is a popular local swimming spot, and boat rentals from the nearby dock are a fun way to travel across the lake.
OBSTRUCTION PASS STATE PARK
With moorage available just off the beach, Obstruction Pass State Park on Orcas Island has 10 walk- in primitive camp sites and boasts a pebble beach and tidepools with interesting sea life.
OLGA MARINE STATE PARK
Located on the coast of Olga proper, Olga Marine State Park has a public day-use dock and offers some fine crabbing opportunities, in season.
POINT DOUGHTY RECREATION
A 57 acre forested preserve on the coast of Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands, boasting a small, stae owned recreation site used for marine mammal study, kayak and small boat camping, and outdoor education through nearby Camp Orkila. Accessible only by boat.
EASTSOUND VILLAGE GREEN
Doubles at the Orcas Island Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from May through mid October. Also features Orcas Island’s outdoor bandshell, and home to the Orcas Island Library Fair and the Orcas Island Historical Days celebration. A San Juan Islands County park. Public Restrooms.
WATERFRONT PARK
You can’t miss Waterfront Park on your way into town from the Orcas Island Washington State ferry landing, home to the annual Orcas Island Fourth of July Fireworks celebration and annual Orcas Island Community Bank concert.
ORCAS SKATEBOARD PARK
Another world class experience is yours for the asking at the Orcas Island Skateboard Park.
EASTSOUND LIBRARY PARK
Located on Prune Alley at the base of the staircase up to the Library, Eastsound Library park on Orcas Island offers a pleasant repast between Island Market and Roses Bakery.
ORCAS ISLAND DOG PARK
Adjacent to the Orcas Island Airport, at the intersection of Mt. Baker Road and North Beach Road, the Orcas Island Dog Park offers social interaction for both man, woman, and beast. A San Juan Islands favorite.
BUCK PARK
A favorite spot for Orcas Island locals, Buck park is home to the Orcas Island Skateboard park, the Orcas Island School District ball fields, and Orcas Island Parks and Recreation Saturday team hang out.
FRANK RICHARDSON WILDLIFE PRESERVE
For the bird watcher in you, the Frank Richardson Wildlife Preserve is a step into an aviary of local species. Located in Deer Harbor, on Orcas Island. A San Juan Islands treasure.
KILLEBREW LAKE WILDLIFE AREA
Birds to watch! For a true San Juan Islands experience, primitive and abundant, visit Killebrew Lake Wildlife Area on Orcas Island. If you can find the limited roadside parking, you will make it to the walk-in dock access on the left.
MADRONA POINT PRESERVE
is not currently open to the public.
CRESCENT BEACH RESERVE
A nice stretch of beach located just outside of Eastsound, Crescent Beach reserve has created a public space for all to enjoy water access on Orcas Island.
